Coach Brown's BBQ

I have heard so much about this place so I had to try it. My son loved his brisket and my ribs were falling off the bone. The sauce had a nice kick.

This place is small but good. I got the rib plate. It came out in a very timely fashion. The ribs are tender, but the potatoe salad is awesome. Had to go back for another order of it. I would really recommend this place to everyone that's looking for great customer service with a friendly smile. I will most definitely be back

These guys make the absolute BEST maccheese, collards, and fried green tomatoes I have ever had in my life and I am not exaggerating. Excellent smoked wings, as well. Friendly service, fair prices.

I had heard about Coach Brown’s BBQ by word of mouth. Actually someone had told me about because they heard someone talk about it. I decided to try it out for myself. Before I drove to the location I looked at the menu online. I already had an idea of what I wanted. When I got there were some people were outside waiting for their food. The building is set up sort of like a concession stand. I went up to the stand and looked at the menu. I ordered the smoked wings medium plate. It comes with 2 sides. I chose the mac and cheese and the loaded baked beans. I paid for my meal and they gave me a little pager that would let me know when my food was ready. It really didn’t take long at all for my food to get ready. When I got home I was ready to eat. The food smelled delicious. I tried the baked beans first. They had what seemed to be ground beef in them. It was pretty good. The mac and cheese was next. You could tell it was baked. My serving had a little crust from the top and it was tasty. The smoked wings were excellent. The smokiness was just right. I don’t remember how many pieces I had but there was an assorted of flats and drums. I asked for the sauce on the wings. The sauce was really good. The plate came with a piece of white bread. There was sauce left so I got a couple of pieces of bread I had at home and scooped the remaining sauce up. The meal was excellent.

The food was great! If I had to pick a favorite food, I would go with the ribs, brisket, and smoked chicken salad. The sides (collards, baked beans) were good also. No lie, the brisket was so good that it literally melted in my mouth. The smokey taste from the chicken salad yummy , the best I've ever had. The only negative thing for me was the location--from where I live, it took almost 30 minutes to get there, but I'm willing to travel the route again.

Went here for the first time and was honestly surprised. My experience was really good, the workers were all really sweet and the one who took my order was patient with first timers and helped with recommending what to get. I got the large plate which comes with choice of two meats and two sides. The meat was tender and practically falling off the bone. The food was HOT, like nearly burned my tongue on the first bite of baked beans hot, which I think is good considering it's primarily a take out spot. My only gripes overall were not even really issues with the store or food quality. The lack of indoor seating was kind of annoying as I visited during the peak of summer and while it wasn't too hot, fighting the elements for my lunch wasn't ideal. (I did hear there was actual seating on the school bus parked out front so I might ask about that next time I go.) And the portions on the sides were a bit smaller from what I had heard, but they were still delicious so I'm not complaining. I would say my 20 minute drive was definitely worth it.

This food was sooo good. I’m kind of picky about my Mac and cheese but it was cheesy, hot, and had good flavor. The beans and ribs were also really good! My food didn’t take long at all. This was my first time here and I’ll definitely be going back

The customer service was also top-notch—friendly, welcoming, and attentive. If you’re looking for mouthwatering BBQ and great service, Coach Brown’s is the place to be. You will not be disappointed!
